Attacks and clashes continue on the 65th day of the self government resistance against the state’s genocidal attacks in Şırnak. Houses were targeted one by one in the bombing targeting Yeni and Bahçelievler neighborhoods that started in the evening hours. Several houses targeted by the Howitzers were demolished and others burned for hours.

Intense clashes broke out with the bombings in Yeni, Bahçelievler, Cumhuriyet and Aydınlıkevler neighborhoods.

NEIGHBORHOODS RAKED

Occasional clashes continued through the night in Yeni neighborhood and the clashes focused on Cumhuriyet and Bahçelievler neighborhoods with the bombing that started in the morning hours. The neighborhoods under bombing are also being raked with the armored vehicles stationed around the perimeter.

Several ambulances shuttled back and forth between the clash zones and the Şırnak Public Hospital and 23rd Gendarmerie Border Command.

MILITARY DEPLOYMENT CONTINUES

UAV activity continues in the urban and rural areas of the city and dozens of armored vehicles were dispatched in the night.

State forces continue to blast racist anthems from the armored vehicles.
