Clashes between HPG and Turkish army in Hakkari and Bingöl

ACTIONS IN SEMDİNLİ

"The Revolutionary Initiative of Martyr Bedran Gundikremo and Martyr Nalîn Muş, launched by our forces in Zap, Zagros and Xakurkê on the 8th June, entered its second phase. Within the scope of the second phase of the revolutionary initiative, our forces have carried out various actions against the army of the occupying Turkish state in Hakkari and Bingöl.

On August 29, at 8.30 am, our forces carried out an action against a military outpost of the army of the occupying Turkish state in Hakkari’s Bêzokê. Details on the number of the killed and wounded soldiers of the enemy in this action could not be obtained.

The military operations of the occupying Turkish state in Hakkari’s Şapatan and Seraro regions are still ongoing. Our forces conducted an action against an operational enemy unit in the Seraro Valley on the 2nd September at 06:30. In this action, two enemy soldiers were confirmed dead and two others wounded.

The occupying forces retreated after the action, carrying killed and wounded soldiers with helicopters from the field.

On the same day, our forces carried out an action against the occupying army in Hakkari's Girê Sîserê area. In this action, a military position was destroyed and a tent position was damaged. The number of dead and injured soldiers in this action could not be determined.

TWO VILLAGE GUARDS KILLED IN BINGOL

On August 31, at 8.30 pm, our guerrillas encountered soldiers of the occupying Turkish state near the village Dugernan of Bingol, where clashes broke out. Two village guards and one counter-guerrilla member have been reportedly killed and one village guard wounded.

After the action, the occupying Turkish army raided the village Dugernan. Enemy troops pressurized the local villagers.

The enemy stood put there until 9 am on September 1.

On September 2, between 21:30 and 22:00, helicopters of the occupying Turkish army bombarded the Navsera Cûdî area and the Cûdî mountain of Şirnak. As a result of the shelling, livestock belonging to the villagers were killed."
