Genocidal attacks by state forces have entered the 16th day in the province of Şırnak. Bombing continued throughout the night and clashes broke out in Dicle and Cumhuriyet neighborhoods before the break of dawn. More than 20 ambulances were dispatched to the area after the clashes.

Gunfire and artillery shots continued non-stop until the morning in Şırnak where the popular resistance for self-rule against genocidal attacks of state forces endures with determination in its 16th day.

The artillery, howitzer and mortar aggression on Dicle and Cumhuriyet neighborhoods that started in the evening hours yesterday, have continued nonstop until the morning.

All neighborhoods were raked from armored vehicles simultaneously with the bombing till the morning hours.

In the state forces’ attack targeting the Darusselam Mosque in Dicle neighborhood, the minaret of the mosque was damaged and fire broke out inside.

Intense clashes broke out between Civilian Defense Units YPS/YPS-JIN and state forces trying to enter Dicle and Cumhuriyet neighborhoods.

Ambulances were dispatched to the area from 23rd Gendarmerie Division Command after the intensifying clashes. Ambulance activity was also spotted in the morning and more than 20 ambulances were seen entering the division.
