Clashes have intensified in the province of Şırnak on the 32nd day of genocidal attacks by state forces.

As a result of the ongoing heavy fighting in Gündoğdu and Vakıfkent neighborhoods, where are no trenches or barricades to be used by state forces as a justification, Turkish military and police forces have started to rake the two neighborhoods from armoured vehicles. Snipers have been positioned on high buildings overlooking both neighborhoods.

A number of ambulances have been dispatched to the area as Civil Defense Units YPS and YPS-JIN are retaliating against the state forces that are trying to enter the neighborhoods where fighting intensifies. These ambulances were later seen to be heading towards Şırnak Public Hospital and 23rd Gendarmerie Border Division Command.

In the meantime, Turkish forces continue bombing Bahçeli, Yeni, İsmetpaşa and Cumhuriyet neighborhoods with artillery, tank and howitzer fire.

The rural areas of the city are also witnessing an intense activity of Turkish helicopters and UAVs.
