Self-rule resistance endures against state forces' genocidal attacks in Şırnak province for the 58th uninterrupted day.
Turkish military and police forces have started a fresh wave of attacks with heavy weaponry targeting Yeni, Bahçelievler, İsmetpaşa and Cumhuriyet neighborhoods of Şırnak province Wednesday morning after a night-long bombardment against the areas of self-rule.
While the neighborhoods are being targeted with heavy weapons landed on armored vehicles, heavy clashes are taking place in various locations across the city. Fighting intensifies mainly in Yeni and Bahçelievler neighborhoods where state forces trying to enter the self-rule areas are being responded by Civil Defense Units YPS / YPS-JIN with resistance.
Many ambulances dispatched to the areas of clashes later headed towards Şırnak Public Hospital and 23rd Gendarmerie Border Division Command.
Turkish forces stationed on high buildings are also continuing their attacks on Yeni, Bahçelievler and Cumhuriyet neighborhoods.
Alongside the UAV activity that lasted all night long, military build-up in the city also continues with the deployment of numerous armored vehicles and trucks carrying ammunition.
The ongoing bombardment of state forces has started fire in many houses but fire trucks are not allowed to intervene the targeted scenes.
