Fighting resumes between ISIS gangs and asayish forces in the central neighborhoods and Mahmudiye village of Kirkuk.

Yesterday's clashes in city that erupted at 03:00 towards the morning lasted till late into the night. Guerrillas and peshmergas took control over the areas held by ISIS at midnight.

Reports are coming through that gang groups have re-launched attacks in neighborhoods to the north of the city and in the Mahmudiye village of Keylan sub-district this morning.

Heavy clashes are reported to be taking place between gang groups and Kurdish forces.
