Hakkari's Çukurca district municipality co-mayor Hilal Duman, Deputy co-mayor Hıdır Demiroğlu, former co-mayor Mehmet Kanar and HDP district co-chair Cumhur Erdemir have been referred to court today after their detention on December 3.

Duman, Demiroğlu,Kanar and Erdemir were all arrested for alleged “membership to a terrorist organization”.

The other co-mayor of Çukurca, Servet Tunç, was also formally arrested yesterday.
