Co-mayor of Van's Çaldıran district Suna Atabay has been taken into custody.

Atabay was detained while travelling from Çaldıran to Van Tuesday afternoon. While the reason for Atabay's detainment was not immediately clear, she has been taken to Çaldıran district police headquarters.
