As AKP government's political genocide operations continue increasingly, police forces have today raided the house of the Co-mayor, municipality and municipality-affiliated Mordem Cultural Center in Varto district of Muş Friday afternoon.

Co-mayor Sabite Ekinci was taken into custody during the operation, and taken to district police station. The district municipality is under police blockade and nobody is allowed to enter the building.

A detailed search continues in the Mordem Cultural Center.
