Co-mayors Bağcı and Özalp arrested
DBP’s Handan Bağcı and Şerafettin Özalp, co-mayors of the usurped Özalp Municipality, and Deputy Co-mayor Okan Bayram have been arrested on outstanding sentences and sent to Van Type T Prison.
Co-mayors of Van’s Özalp Municipality usurped by the AKP-MHP, Handan Bağcı and Şerafettin Özalp, and Deputy Co-mayor Okan Bayram have been sent to the Van Type T Prison due to outstanding sentences for “non-compliance with the Demonstrations and Gatherings Act”.
As the sentences are under 1 year, Bağcı, Özalp and Bayram will stay in prison for 20 days.
