The AKP/MHP regime continues its repressive policies in Turkey and Kurdistan. Deceiving the people over ending the State of Emergency, the regime is now applying practices of martial rule.
Diyarbakır Governorate has declared a curfew in a village and 7 hamlets in Kulp district on the grounds of “military operations to be conducted in the region”.
Another curfew has been declared in two villages in the rural areas of Mardin’s Nusaybin district, again on the grounds of “military operations”.
Reports are coming through that an air-supported operation has been launched in the curfew zone with the participation of a large number of soldiers and village guards (local groups armed by the state to fight against the Kurdish people).
