Curfew in 16 villages of Lice as bombardment in rural areas continues

Turkish jets have been shelling the rural areas in Sisê territory of Amed's Lice district since early this morning. Alongside the aerial bombardment, Lice town center is also witnessing an intense military activity.
Local people have left for the bombardment area to act as human shields in order to hinder probable clashes and deaths, but they are facing hindrance by Turkish state forces on their way to the area.
In the meantime, Lice district governor's office has declared a curfew for 16 villages of Lice Saturday afternoon.
The curfew which will remain in place until a further notice has been imposed on the villages of Dibek, Arıklı, Çağdaş, Yolçatı, Tepe, Serince, Beğendik, Esenli, Kabakaya, Uçarlı, Kayacık, Ortaç, Yalaza, Bağlan, Çavundur and Dolunay.
