The Turkish army has launched an operation Thursday evening in the rural areas of Talatê (Doğanlı) village in Nusaybin district of Mardin province.
Turkish troops have blocked all the entry and exit points in the village and operation zone with armored vehicles.
Following the siege, curfew has been declared in Talatê village as well as in Kovanlı village in Ömerli district on the grounds of a military operation. The curfew will continue until further notice.
Turkish military forces had demolished several houses amid a military siege in the Talatê village last March.
