In the ongoing operation to liberate Manbij, which was named after the fallen Commander Martyr Abu Layla, the town of Dadat, Qîrat village and 20 more hamlets have been cleared of ISIS gangs.
In the Operation Commander Martyr Abu Layla, the Dadat town 10 km north of Manbij, Qîrat village 18 km west of the Tishrin Dam and 20 hamlets have been liberated following intense clashes.
A car-bomb attack planned by the gangs was foiled by the Manbij Military Assembly fighters.
13 gang members were killed in the Qîrat village and 5 Kalashnikovs, 4 grenades and 1 DSHK were confiscated.
Clashes in and around the Dadat town are going on.
