Democratic Regions' Party (DBP) Co-chair Sebahat Tuncel has been taken into custody during the police crackdown on people waiting in front of the Diyarbakır Courthouse in solidarity with the detained Co-chairs and deputies of the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP).

Tuncel was battered and injured during the detention, and taken to hospital. She will reportedly be taken to police station after treatment in hospital.
