A delegation from the DBP(Party of Democratic Regions) and HDP (Peoples' Democratic Party) will go to Şırnak's Cizre district to reach the people trapped in two basements under heaviest circumstances.

A group of volunteer medics will accompany the delegation which is made up of DBP co-chair Kamuran Yüksek, HDP deputies Celal Doğan, İdris Baluken, Dengir Mir Mehmet Fırat, Mithat Sancar and Mardin Metropolitan Municipality co-mayor Ahmet Türk.

The delegation of medics and Kurdish politicians aim to enable the retrieval and hospitalization of 42 wounded and 17 slain people trapped in two separate basements in Cudi neighborhood.

The delegation is expected to hold a press conference today afternoon before leaving for the town of Cizre.
