Police forces conducted a raid on DBP-held municipality of Van's Çatak district this morning, saying “The state is here”.

Municipality employees were detained by police forces while Co-mayor Celalettin Bartu was taken into custody during a raid on his house in Van province.

Police forces have seized the municipality amid intensified 'security measures' and are not allowing anyone to approach the building.
