Police forces raided many houses in Kızıltepe district of Mardin early Monday morning.

Democratic Regions' Party (DBP) administrator Metin Arslan was detained during the police raid on his house in Turgut Özal neighborhood in the district. Arslan is being held in district police headquarters.

On the other hand, police also raided the house of MEYA-DER employee Ali Tanırgan although he was not home during the operation.

Policemen broke the door and all the windows in Tanırgan's house which they turned upside down during the raid.
