Death toll has risen to 7 in the car bomb attack near Mala Gel (People's House) in Girê Spî town of Rojava (West) Kurdistan.

The suicide attack conducted with a Skoda type pick-up car at 10:20 Wednesday morning left 7 people dead and 12 others wounded.

Two of the victims are reported to be members of the HPC (Self-Defense Forces, Hêzên Parastina Cewheri in Kurdish) guarding the Mala Gel building.

While the bodies of the martyrs are held in the Watanî Hospital in town center, all those wounded, most of whom are in critical condition, have been taken to hospitals in Qamishlo city following first response in Girê Spî.
