Masses are joining a demonstration in Suriye village of Shêladizê town and marching towards a Turkish military base in protest at the massacre of civilians by Turkish warplanes that targeted Rêkan and Nerwê villages in Amadiya and Horê village in Avashin region of Southern Kurdistan on September 19.

Reports suggest that asayish (public security) forces are preventing the demonstrators from marching to the Turkish base.

A group of youth parted from the mass and set fire to an area near the Turkish military base, according to reports. Asayish forces have detained some of these demonstrators and tensions continue in the area.
