Gendarme and special operations police officers raided houses in Eyne (Bağgöze) village in Siirt's Eruh district this morning.

Members of almost every family in the village have been arrested and nearly 40 villagers were taken to the nearby military battalion to be interrogated.

State forces continue to search the houses in the village and the reason for the operation has not been clarified.
