HPG Media Center announced that 20 civilian vehicles belonging to the gendarme command were destroyed, 1 lieutenant and 19 soldiers were killed, and 2 sergeants and more than 40 soldiers were injured during the guerilla action in Mardin’s Ömerli district on June 23.

In a written statement, HPG Media Center recalled that they had announced that 10 soldiers were killed during the action in Mardin’s Ömerli district, and updated this information as it announced that 20 civilian vehicles belonging to the gendarme command were destroyed, 1 lieutenant and 19 soldiers were killed, and 2 sergeants and more than 40 soldiers were injured during the guerilla action.

HPG also noted that guerilla forces carried out an action against state forces at Haruna hill with heavy weaponry on at 18:00 on June 25, and 3 soldiers were killed during the action. State forces from the Durê and Şapatan outposts randomly shelled Xumarov regions and damaged civilians’ gardens.

ACTION AGAINST 2 MILITARY GROUPS

The Media Center stated that guerillas carried out an action against 2 military groups on an operation in the Çiyayê Filleha and Bestê Meryemê areas of Şırnak’s Besta region on the morning of June 25, and a total of 5 soldiers were killed during the action. HPG added that Turkish soldiers evacuated the bodies of soldiers with a Skorsky-type helicopter, and continue their operation in the region.

ACTION AGAINST SOLDIERS AT CHECKPOINT

HPG said that guerillas carried out an action against a checkpoint near the Çemê Elik junction on the Amed-Lice road, and 2 soldiers were killed and 2 soldiers were injured during the action. Guerillas also damaged a Kobra-type armored vehicle with rockets.

5 SOLDIERS KILLED DURING ACTION BETWEEN LİCE AND HAZRO

HPG noted that clashes took place between guerillas and soldiers on an operation between the villages of Sisê and Derxust in Lice and the village of Helhel in Hazro. 5 soldiers were killed and 7 soldiers were wounded during the clashes.

NEW INFORMATION ON THE RESULTS OF THE ACTION IN ÖMERLİ

3 SOLDIERS KILLED IN BAŞKALE

HPG stated that guerillas carried out an action against soldiers at the Xelkava outpost in Van’s Başkale district on June 26, and 3 soldiers were killed during the action.

The Media Center added that clashes broke out between soldiers and guerillas near the village of Hêman in Elâzığ's Karakoçan district at 23:00 on June 23. Two guerillas fell as martyrs during the clashes, and the Turkish army launched an operation in the area.

DIGGER DAMAGED

HPG said that guerillas carried out an action against a digger used in the construction of a road around Sinek outpost in Şırnak’s Uludere district between 08:00 and 12:00 on June 25, and damaged the digger.

Guerillas carried out an assassination action against soldiers at Bespin outpost in Şırnak’s Silopi district at 09:00 on June 25, and 1 soldier was killed during the action.

Lastly, HPG informed the public that Turkish warplanes have been bombarding the area around the villages of Gundik Remo ve Sıpîndarok in Şırnak’s Cudi region between 12:00 and 14:00 on June 24, and soldiers shelled the same region from their nearby outposts.
