The mine explosion left eight children from the same family wounded, whose names are Şevin (9), Lava (9), Ferzad (10), Hamude (6), İnas (6), Ronas (8), Malva (7) and Berivan Musa (7).
All the wounded children have been taken to Suruç State Hospital in the bordering Northern Kurdistan town, from which 5 among them were referred to hospitals in Urfa. Four of these - Malva, Berivan, Hamude and İnas Musa- are reported to be in critical condition.
