In the same way recently witnessed in different parts of Northern Kurdistan, Turkish state forces have committed a murder in the wake of a curfew.

Tihs time, an eight-year-old child has been killed by police in Amed's Bismil district Sunday evening.

Following declarion of a curfew in the district this evening, police and military forces blockaded Avashin, Rojava and Zap neighborhoods and fired on the inhabitants.

While civilians were also targeted by snipers positioned on high buildings, police fired a bomb into the house of Şimşek family in Avashin (Dumlupınar) neighborhood, which left eight-year-old Elif Şimşek inside dead, and five others from the same family wounded.

The wounded have been taken under treatment at Bismil State Hospital and Diyarbakır Gazi Yaşargil Training and Research Hospital. Body of the child killed in the attack has been taken to Bismil State Hospital's morgue.

As attack by Turkish state forces in the district continue, 22-year-old youth Agit Yıldız was hit by two bullets as he stood outside his house, which left him heavily wounded.

The youth in critical condition has been referred to Diyarbakır Gazi Yaşargil Training and Research Hospital.
