The European delegation came to Amed's Sur district today for solidarity with residents of Alipaşa and Lalebey neighborhoods where the state has started to demolish houses and cut off the water and power in an effort to force the people out of their homes.
Police blocked the delegation and seized their passports. The delegation members were kept restrained for a long while, after which they were released.
