According to reports obtained from local sources, an explosion occurred at the position of Turkish soldiers on Hill Kevorke in Bradost region in southern Kurdistan, northern Iraq Sunday night. At least one soldier died and many others got wounded as a result, according to reports.
In the evening hours on Sunday, guerrillas carried out an action targeting the Seraro outpost in Şemdinli district of Şırnak. While Turkish forces have suffered losses, details about the results of the action were not immediately available.
Concurrently with this action, guerrillas hit a military vehicle of the Turkish army, which is also reported to have resulted in casualties among Turkish soldiers.
Following the action, Turkish soldiers carried out raids in Şemdinli district centre, opened fire on houses and injured a 15-year-old minor.
