Forest fire started in Xbalê Maqorkê, Navdest and Rêhla Hirça areas between the villages of Celtik (Keha Hemzo) and Armutlu (Harê) in Hakkari center due to bombardment. 

It was stated that the fire continued to spread while no one was allowed to go to the zone to extinguish the fire, on the grounds that it is a “Special Security Zone".

A citizen told Mesopotamian Agency: “The fire in the district continues to spread. The state does not allow volunteers to go to the fire area. But they do not put out the fire either. Here, trees and hundreds of living creatures are destroyed by fire. This fire should be put out as soon as possible. If the fire is not extinguished, it will affect a much bigger area”.
