First Conference of Patriotic Youth held in Kirkuk

The Patriotic Youth in Kirkuk organized their first conference with the motto ‘We will defeat the isolation, defend our unity and liberate Kurdistan.’
The Patriotic Youth in Kirkuk region of South Kurdistan organized their first conference yesterday, December 29, with the motto ‘We will defeat the isolation, defend our unity and liberate Kurdistan.’ The conference included the election of the executive board members.
Seventeen young men and women were elected as the executive board members of the Kirkuk’s Patriotic Youth. The elected board will be representing Kirkuk, Taqtaq, Chamchamal, Daqoq and other districts within Kirkuk.
A member of Kirkuk’s Patriotic Youth, Givara Ahmad, read a statement before the media and said: “It is our promise to fallen martyrs [in Kurdistan] that we will continue to resist and struggle until the end. We also promise the political prisoners that we will strengthen fight for the liberation of the Kurdish people.”
