Gerîla TV has published footage from an action in which guerrillas hit invading Turkish military units in Barzan region of South Kurdistan in late May.

The action was carried out by HPG (People’s Defense Forces) guerrillas at 07:30 on May 30.

One emplacement of the Turkish forces was completely destroyed as a result of the guerrilla action in Girê Xwedê area of Barzan region.

At least 5 Turkish soldiers were killed and one other was wounded in the action, after which the Turkish army shelled the area with howitzers and mortars.
