Gerîla TV published footage from an action carried out by guerrillas in Şırnak on April 16 as part of the “Martyr Delal Amed and Besta Martyrs Revolutionary Campaign”.

Before the effective guerrilla action on Guzê Kurkê, Turkish soldiers on the hill were put under surveillance for a long while.

A military unit from the Turkish troop was encircled by guerrillas when they left the hill and started to patrol in the area at 08:00 on April 16.

Strikes by guerrillas against this unit left 8 soldiers dead and many others wounded. Guerrillas seized arms from some of the soldiers killed here.
