Gerîla TV has published footage from actions in which guerrillas hit Turkish soldiers in Çukurca and Şemdinli districts of Hakkari.
The Press Office of People’s Defense Forces (HPG) detailed the actions as follows:
“Guerrillas targeted the Turkish army in Northern Kurdistan as part of the ‘Martyr Bager and Martyr Ronya Revolutionary Campaign’. In this scope, guerrillas hit the Turkish soldiers stationed on the Koordine Hill in Çukurca at 9 am on May 14. While the positions and shelters of Turkish forces were struck effectively, the number of casualties couldn’t be clarified.
At 5 pm on May 23, guerrillas targeted the Turkish soldiers stationed on Martyr Bager Hill in Çukurca. While the positions and shelters of Turkish forces were struck effectively, the number of casualties couldn’t be clarified.
At 2 pm on April 21, guerrillas targeted a position of the Turkish army on the Sivri Hill in Şemdinli. Three soldiers were killed and a heavy weapon was destroyed as a result.”
