Over a hundred members of gang groups have been killed as part of the cleansing operation started by YPG/YPJ (People's/Women's Defense Units) in the wake of the offensive launched by the gangs in Mount Kizwan, Garê and Bedi areas.

Defense Units have also seized a large quantity of ammunition belonging to the gang groups, which include a pick-up truck loaded with explosives.
