The online portal Gerîla TV has published footage of a guerrilla action against the Turkish occupation forces in the Heftanîn region of the guerrilla-held Medya Defense Zones in southern Kurdistan (northern Iraq).

The action was carried out with heavy weapons in the Girê Şehîd Silava area on 19 September. As the Press Centre of the People's Defence Forces announced two days later, the action was directed against a position established by the Turkish army. Two soldiers were killed in the action, and the position, an A4 gun and two surveillance cameras were destroyed.
