Former PUK deputy Şêx Dilêr: All Kurds must act with a national stance against danger

Politician Rêzan Şêx Dilêr said that South Kurdistan is in great danger because of the invasion attacks carried out by the Turkish state and called on Kurds to "act with a national attitude."

The Turkish state has increased its invasion attacks against South Kurdistan in the last two years. In this context, last April, Turkey launched a military attack against Avaşîn, Zap and Metîna.

Former Iraqi PUK MP, Rezan Şêx Dilêr, called on people and political parties to see the current danger and take action.

Şêx Dilêr pointed out that not only the South Kurdistan lands but also the Iraqi lands are occupied by the Turkish state, and added: "Even though Çemçemal is far from the border area, that place is also being bombed. It is not a place where the PKK is located. People live there. We are facing a great danger.”

This is the land of all Kurds

Şêx Dilêr criticized the South Kurdistan government for remaining silent about the attacks, and underlined that the people are protesting the invasion.

Şêx Dilêr underlined that the South Kurdistan government has yet to ask the central government to act and stop the Turkish invasion and said this about the KDP's cooperation with the Turkish state: "It is obvious that the political parties cannot protect the region. Regardless of the relationship, this should not allow the Turkish state to occupy our lands and regions, and to endanger the lives of our citizens."

The politician also responded to the rhetoric of some circles, saying that the 'PKK must leave Bashur'. She said: "We are all Kurds, no matter what political side we are on. This is the homeland of all Kurds all over the world. Whenever our region is in danger, every Kurd should stand up and take action with a national stance. We all have to take responsibility and act together.”
