Turkish police detained a prominent member of Free Women's Movement (TJA) in Van yesterday (Sep. 29).
Free Women's Movement (TJA) member Ceylan Bağrıyanık was taken into custody by police officers that stopped her car in Van city centre Friday evening.
The police said there is a court order for her arrest but provided no details. She was taken to the anti-terror branch of Van Provincial Security Directorate.
Bağrıyanık was a member of İmrali Delegation and met with Kurdish leader Abdullah Öcalan several times between 2014-2015.
