A freedom campaign will be launched on all digital media platforms for Kurdish political prisoner Zeynab Jalalian, who is held by the Iranian regime. No news has been given about the situation of Jalalian for over 600 days. Neither her lawyers nor members of her family have been able to meet her of get information about her condition.

A new initiative was launched and announced a freedom campaign on 5 March at 8 pm. The initiative called on everyone to join the campaign, especially women. The initiative stated that they will announce the hashtag they will use 5 minutes before the campaign actually starts.

Zeynab Jalalian was born in Urmia in 1982 and has been in prison since 2008. She was first sentenced to death, and then the sentence was commuted to life imprisonment.
