'Freedom for Öcalan' Vigil in Kirkuk in its second day

Many politicians and civil society organization members participate in the vigil launched in Kirkuk to draw attention to the isolation of Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan.

The vigil launched in Kirkuk yesterday to draw attention to the isolation of Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan continues in Castle Garden. Many politicians and civil society organization members participate in the vigil led by Tevgera Azadî, Kurdistan Free Women's Movement and Kurdistan Patriotic Youth Movement today.

Representatives of Gorran (Change) Movement, Kurdistan Laborers Party, Kurdistan People's Democratic Movement, Iraqi Communist Party and Kirkuk Zoroastrian Center visited the vigil that is joined by Kurdish, Arab and Turkmen peoples, and voiced solidarity with the demand for Öcalan's freedom.

The vigil will end after a march that will begin at 18:00 this evening.
