Çakırsöğüt Gendarmerie Brigade and the building of Directorate of National Education, which currently serves as headquarters for special operation police, have been targeted by simultaneous actions. Reports are coming through of many casualties.

As the siege and genocidal attacks by state forces continue in Şırnak province for the 16th day, fighters of Civilian Defense Units YPS and its female branch YPS-JIN have conducted simultaneous actions against state targets Wednesday afternoon.

Çakırsöğüt Gendarmerie Brigade and the building of Directorate of National Education, which is located in between Dicle and Cumhuriyet neighborhoods and currently serves as headquarters for special operation police, were targeted in the simultaneous actions with rockets and long barreled weapons. Heavy clashes that erupted therewith are going on.

Many ambulances have been rushed to the area as Turkish security forces are reported to have suffered many casualties as a result of the actions and clashes. Ambulances carried casualties to 23rd Gendarmerie Border Division Command and Şırnak Public Hospital.
