Gerîla TV released footage of a military action against the Turkish troops who reinforced the security of Çelê Buka Hill in Kato Xelila, in the Çatak district of Van.

HPG Press Center said the following in its statement regarding the action which was carried out on June 10: "The invading Turkish army has been building a new police station in Çelê Buka Hill in the Kato Xelila area of Van's Çatak district since spring. The occupying forces were trying to secure the roads leading to the military outpost with counter-guerillas and soldiers. After taking these units under surveillance for a long time, our forces carried out a sabotage action at 18:00 on June 8 within the scope of Martyr Medya Mawa and Martyr Rizgar Gever Revenge Campaign against a transit type vehicle belonging to the invaders who reinforced the area. This vehicle with counter-guerrillas and soldiers in it was targeted and completely destroyed. 13 counter-guerrillas and soldiers were killed and 2 enemy soldiers were injured."
