According to the information provided on the action, HPG guerillas targeted the positions of Turkish invasion forces on the Mergeniş Hill.

The positions were destroyed and at least 8 soldiers were killed in the action carried out on June 14.

The Turkish army reportedly bombed the area with Howitzers and mortars following the action, while only being able to retrieve their casualties late at night with Sikorsky helicopters.
