Footage from an action carried out by guerrillas has been published by the Gerîla TV with the following statement;

“At between 10:30 and 11:00 on August 25, our forces targeted a construction equipment building a road between Deştanê outpost and Deştanê Valley in Çelê (Çukurca) district of Hakkari. While the construction equipment was destroyed as result of the action, the number of soldiers killed or wounded here couldn’t be clarified. Following the action, Turkish forces shelled the Zavite highland with mortar and howitzer fire.”
