Gerîla TV has released footage from an action of self-sacrifice which targeted the Axe outpost located between Midyat and Dargeçit districts of Mardin on May 25, 2016.

HPG Press Office had said in a previous statement that the action of self-sacrifice was carried out by Dıjwar Wan who targeted the Axe outpost located between the Dargeçit and Midyat districts of Mardin at 19:30 on May 25.

HPG noted that one of the counter-guerrillas killed in the action was Şexmus Koru, who was responsible for the martyrdom of HPG guerrillas in the 1990s.

HPG statement added that the action was carried out in memory of Martyr Bedran Koçer and the martyrs of Kerboran (Dargeçit) and Hezex (İdil).
