Gorran (Change) Movement Spokesperson Şoreş Haci repeated their call for the Southern Kurdistan Regional Government to resign.

Following the handover of Kirkuk and various areas to Iraqi and Hashd al-Shaabi forces, the Gorran Movement called for the Hewler administration to resign. The Gorran Movement repeated this demand and wanted a “National Rescue Government” to be founded to overcome the current crisis.

Gorran Movement Spokesperson Şoreş Haci said the following on the matter:

“KDP and PUK have experienced a great defeat. This is not just a defeat, they have brought calamity upon our nation. That is why we demand the authorities resign. Masoud Barzani did, in one way or the other. We demand the Kurdistan Regional Government also resign and a “National Rescue Government” be founded.

The only duty of this government will be to negotiate with Baghdad. Because, how could a government defeated on the war front negotiate with the victorious power?”
