The HPG Press Center said in a statement about the action: “From 00:15 to 03:00 on 25 July, the invading Turkish army tried to land its helicopters on the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area. These helicopters were targeted 15 times by our forces. One Sikorsky helicopter was hit and had to leave the area without being able to land."
