HPG Media Center issued a written statement on guerilla actions and stated that many soldiers died during the actions of HPG/YJA Star guerillas in Bitkis and Şırnak.

BİTLİS

HPG stated that guerilla forces carried out an infiltration action against Turkish soldiers positioned at the Hevris Hill of Bitlis, where 1 soldier was killed and 2 soldiers were injured.

ŞIRNAK

The Media Center announced that guerillas carried out a sabotage action at against Turkish soldiers and village guards that had launched an operation at 07:00 on June 4 on the Gundıkê Melê- Sêgırkê road in Şırnak, and 2 soldiers were killed during the action. State forces withdrew from the area at 03:00 on June 5.

HPG stated that guerillas carried out an action against state forces positioned at Şehidan and Kurkê Omerya hills as well as the Elemun outpost in Şırnak’s Uludere district at 09:30 on June 5. One armored vehicle was damaged during the action, and the numbers of dead and injured soldiers have not yet been determined.

HPG said that guerillas carried out actions near the Martyr Lezgin hill at 11:00 on June, the Kuroşino hill at 16:00 on June 3, and the Martyr Kendal region at 08:30 on June 4. One digger was destroyed near Kuroşino hill and one soldier was killed near the Martyr Kendal region.

AMED

The Media Center stated that Turkish warplanes bombarded the Martyr Ferhat region of Amed’s Lice district at 10:20 on June 4, and the Turkish army’s land operation in the district continues.

DERSİM

HPG announced that Turkish soldiers in civilian clothes carried out reconnaissance missions in the Barav region of Dersim’s Pülümür district on June 1, and more soldiers supported by drones and Kobra-trype helicopters were deployed in the area at 07:00 on June 2. Kobra-type helicopters bombarded the area on June 3, and the operation of the army ended around 17:00 on June 3 but soldiers continue to lay ambuskes near Barav and Şevdin.

HAKKARİ

HPG stated that guerillas carried out an action against the soldiers near the Martyr Bager hill of Hakkari’s Yüksekova district on June 3. The numbers of dead and injured soldiers have not yet been determined, and some of the soldiers are reported to wear guerilla uniforms.

Turkish soldiers launched a land operation near the villages of Helenka and Meleyan in Hakkari’s Şemzinan district at 04:00 on June 4, and are laying ambushes on the road between Van and Hakkari.

AIR STRIKES

The Media Center announced that guerillas shot down a drone flying over the Çeperê Şêxa area of Medya Defense Zones’ Metina region at 08:30 on June 5, and Turkish warplanes bombarded the Tepê Sor and Tepê Doçka areas of Medya Defense Zones’ Avaşin region between 09:00 and 09:30, the Kurê Mızgefte, Berêkeskê and Hacıbeg creek areas of Xakurke region between 09:00 and 10:00, and the Meyrokê area of Garê region between 11:00 and 11:30 on June 4.

ERZİNCAN

HPG recalled its announcement of the martyrdom of 3 guerillas in Erzincan’s Kemah district on May 23, and apologized from the public for announcing the death toll of this incident incorrectly. HPG stated that guerilla Mahir Cudi (Ako Abdullahi) was alive and on duty, and shared the following ID information of the guerilla that got martyred in Erzincan:
