According to local sources, HPG guerrillas carried out an action on the base area on the Koordine (Güven) Hill on the Çukurca border line at around 18.00 Sunday evening.  The sources also stated that intense clashes broke out after the action and that the Turkish army transported their casualties to the Çukurca Brigade with Sikorsky helicopters.

The aerial activity that started following the HPG guerillas’ action continued into the afternoon today.
