People's Defense Forces (HPG) Press Office released a written statement on the guerrilla actions carried out as part of the ongoing Martyr Bedran Gundikremo and Martyr Nalin Mus Revolutionary Initiatives.

The HPG statement disclosed the following details:

"Within the scope of the Revolutionary Initiative of Martyr Bedran Gundikremo and Martyr Nalin Mus, our forces continue to carry out extensive actions.

At 17.00 on July 26, our guerrilla forces carried out a targeted action against soldiers of the occupying Turkish army which were stationed on hill Martyr Botan in Hakkari's Cukurca district. One Turkish soldier was killed here.

The enemy forces started to shell the region indiscriminately thereafter, and at 21.00 the body of the killed soldier was removed from the scene with a helicopter.

On July 27, our forces carried out another action against the soldiers of the Turkish army with heavy weaponry on hill Martyr Botan in Hakkari's Cukurca district. 2 outposts have been destroyed here, while 4 soldiers were killed. After the action, the Turkish army started to shell the region with howitzers and mortars.

ONE SOLDIER KILLED IN ŞEMZİNAN

At 12.10 on July 27, our guerrilla forces carried out a targeted action against soldiers of the Turkish army on hill Genis in Hakkari's Şemzinan (Şemdinli) district. Another soldier was killed here in this action. The Turkish soldiers started then to bomb the surroundings with howitzers.

ONE SOLDIER KILLED IN SIIRT

At 06.20 on July 27, in the scope of the Revolutionary Initiative of Martyr Azad Farqin and Martyr Jinda Ozgur our forces effectively hit the soldiers of the occupying Turkish army in between the military bases of Erbo and Velkanis in Siirt's Baykan district. Our forces delivered effective blows to the soldiers that were redeployed with transit vehicles. Apart from the death of one soldier, clear details could not be obtained about the total number of the other killed or injured soldiers.

TWO SOLDIERS KILLED IN VAN

At 07.10 on July 26, our forces carried out an action against the soldiers stationed in the military base of Tıngê in Van Çatak district. 2 of the 5 targeted soldiers were killed , while the others  were injured.

After the action, the Turkish army started to shell the region with tanks, howitzers and mortars.
