The body of guerrilla Özkan Şahin (Rojhat Zîlan), one of the two members of the Immortals Battalion who died in the action against the Ministry of Internal Affairs on 1 October, was taken by the police and brought to Erciş district of Van on Wednesday night.

The guerrilla's body was later buried in Karadoğan village with the participation of  family members.

Police and soldiers blockaded the neighborhood and did not allow anyone except family members to attend the funeral.
