The Press Office of the People’s Defense Forces (HPG) released a statement providing information on the latest guerrilla actions and Turkish military attacks in Kurdistan territory.
According to the statement, guerrillas carried out a sabotage action against a base station in Baykan district of Siirt at 22:10 on August 27. The base station was destroyed completely.
HPG Press Office reported continued airstrikes by the Turkish army against guerrilla-held Medya Defense Zones in Southern Kurdistan, Northern Iraq. Accordingly, Turkish jets bombed the area of Small Cilo in Zap region at 15:00 on August 27.
The statement added that the attacks did not result in casualties in guerrilla ranks.
