The Press Office of People’s Defense Forces (HPG) released a statement announcing the results of two actions carried out by guerrillas on June 11.
According to the statement, guerrillas hit the Turkish army in Heftanin region in South Kurdistan and Uludere region in North Kurdistan.
HPG said that: “As part of the ‘Battle of Heftanin Revolutionary Campaign’ ongoing in Heftanin region of Medya Defense Zones, our forces targeted the Turkish military unit stationed on Hill Büyük Konferans at 7 am. While the positions and shelters of the enemy were struck effectively, the number of dead and wounded soldiers couldn’t be clarified.
At 3 pm, YJA Star (Free Women’s Troops) guerrillas hit the Turkish soldiers stationed on Hill Lezgin in the countryside of Şırnak’s Uludere district. While the positions and shelters of the enemy were struck effectively, the number of dead and wounded soldiers couldn’t be clarified.”
